Kate Fisher is a strategist & research based in Brooklyn.

With a background in user experience, policy analysis, and participatory planning, Kate has formed a design practice that combines applied research, engagement & capacity building, and organization design toward social impact.

Currently I am at Lab at OPM using applied research, capacity building, and service design toward strengthening government.

Recently, I was working for 3×3, United Nations, Engine Room, SDI, and African Centre for Cities as a researcher and strategist helping public sector agencies and nonprofits collaborate with their stakeholders and glean insights from applied research to frame, design, test, and measure innovative plans, programs, and policies that unlock social value and improve how organizations serve people.

In my previous life, I was working as a user experience designer for over thirty unique digital products as part of larger service engagements for publications, universities, technology and financial organizations, retail, and healthcare services.
